I have dabbled in blogging before. One post here, another there. None of my blogs ever had more than two or three posts. I was never consistent. I am determined to change that with this blog.
Now that I am pregnant and have begun a very new, very crazy, very special chapter in my life, I feel that it is important to be able to share my experiences with others. I hope that this will allow friends and family who I do not have very much contact with keep up with the McFarlane's soon to become very interesting life, and who would like a little bit more than a Facebook status can give.
I promise to do my best (this sounds like the beginning of a Girl Guide's promise...) to update often with posts, photos, and everything in between. Some will be short, others long. It might be a picture with a quick caption to explain, or a page long story that goes way beyond the picture itself. I am sure there will be plenty of everyday goings on that many of you might not find too interesting. Once in a while I am sure something will happen that will be worth the world knowing (who knows, a baby might be born! :P). I may post recipes or tips or tutorials on the things I make and create. I might just post silly things that catch my attention or make me laugh. Or, I might even get really deep and post a long meaningful, thought provoking essay. Who knows? It's whatever I come up with, so I hope you enjoy!
